Vale Park at low water

A local sea angling club committee member,a mate of mine,Chris, asked me to show him a few match venues on Wirral side of the Mersey for some of his club's future matches.Since there's a breezy westerly wind, big tide and got about a dozen of fresh black lugs.I might just as well having a go at Vale Park at low water after showing him a couple venues suitable for his club matches.Hoping I might be lucky enough to snare a codling or 2.

Snare a codling I did

We were getting bites steadily through the couple hours while we there but sadly no decent cods but plenty whitings though. My best 2 to take home for my mum were over 34cm

My mate Chris was bagging up on them, big time
